building, and stronger reliability under real-life pressure.

• All skills from the foundational program
• Desensitization to triggers (people, dogs, noises, etc.)

PUPPY KINDERGARTEN

This private, in-home training program is designed specifically for puppies and their families. We help you lay the groundwork for a lifetime of success. Perfect for pups from 5-10 months old,Puppy Kindergarten gives you the tools and strategies to raise a calm, confident, well-mannered companion.

What’s the difference between Private Training and Board & Train?
Private Training is ideal for owners who want to be hands-on throughout the training process.
You’ll be coached each session and practice at home between visits.
Board & Train is a more intensive option where your dog stays with us and receives consistent, daily training. It’s great for busy owners, dogs needing a behavioral reset, or for jump-starting obedience before transitioning back to you with transfer lessons and support.
Will my dog listen to me after a Board & Train program?
Yes—and that’s a key part of the process! Every Board & Train includes a go-home lesson and two follow-up private sessions to ensure you’re equipped with the tools and knowledge to maintain the training. We focus on transfer of skills, helping your dog generalize obedience with you at home and in public.
How do you use treats and rewards in training?
We frequently use a dog’s regular food (or treats, when helpful) to build motivation—especially when teaching new behaviors like recall or focus. As your dog becomes proficient, we gradually fade food rewards to rely on praise, toys, or life rewards. This encourages consistent compliance without constant bribes.
What breeds, ages, and sizes do you train?
We work with every dog—from petite Chihuahuas and active Border Collies to senior Great Danes. Our programs are fully customized to each dog’s size, temperament, and energy level, with tools appropriately scaled for comfort and effectiveness. We’ve successfully trained dogs of all breeds and ages.
How do I know which program is right for my dog?
That’s exactly what our consultation is for! Every dog and family is different, and we want to make sure you’re set up for success. Whether you're a new puppy owner or working through challenging behaviors, we’ll help you choose the program that fits your goals, lifestyle, and your dog’s unique temperament.
How do you handle aggression or reactivity?
We work with reactivity, fear-based behaviors, and even some aggression cases depending on severity and bite history. These cases require a detailed evaluation first. If we’re a good fit, we’ll focus on creating structure, clear communication, and confidence through balanced techniques tailored to your dog’s emotional and behavioral needs.
