"Before my dog, Daisy, went through training with Denali K9, she was incredibly reactive and dog/cat aggressive. She would charge dogs while walking around our apartment complex and it was extremely difficult to have a stress free walk 4 times a day. I have put Daisy through training in the past with other trainer’s will mediocre results in terms of obedience, and almost negligible results in terms of reactivity and dog aggression. I boarded Daisy with Denali K9 for 5 weeks and it was a night and day difference. She learned basic obedience commands such as sit, down, place, and heel. During our walks, Daisy stays in a loose leash heal 100% of the time, and has blown me away with how non-reactive Daisy is when seeing other dogs and cats on her walks. She went from yanking, pulling, and barking at other dogs, to remaining in a loose leash heal, completely calm, and barely paying attention to the other dogs. It is truly a remarkable difference after training with Denali K9. On top of this, once Shelby, our trainer dropped of Daisy, she offered to do in-home training sessions once a week, free of charge to make sure that Daisy is behaving right and properly transitioned from the training environment to the home environment. It was a blessing to work with Shelby and I can’t recommend Denali enough!

We highly recommend Shelby as a dog trainer. She is talented and passionate about what she does whether it is an in person session or teaching you the methods to implement once your pup is home. Our new addition Willow is a 9 month old Belgian Malinois mix that we rescued off the street. We forgot how crazy it is to go through the puppy stage again. Shelby was able to work with Willow during a board and train. It was perfect for Willow because she received one-on-one instruction while also building her confidence to interact with the outside world. In 2020, my husband and I adopted what we like to call our pandemic puppy- our beautiful boy named Remi. Lack of social interaction not only affected me and my husband but our sweet pup as well.
